Peanut Butter Brownies

These fudgy, gooey peanut butter brownies have a delicious chocolate peanut butter flavor. Today we’re combining 2 of my favorite things – peanut butter and brownies – to make the perfect treat. These peanut butter brownies are thick, fudgy, dense, and deliciously gooey. They have a chocolate peanut butter flavor that’s the perfect blend of salty, sweet, and chocolate-y without being too rich. And it’s an easy brownie recipe that’s made completely from scratch.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz 50% dark chocolate* chopped
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Lina 9x13x2 inch pan with parchment paper, or line with aluminum foil and lightly grease. Ensure there's an overhang over the sides - this makes it easier to lift the brownies out.
  3. Add the butter, chopped chocolate and peanut butter to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute on medium power (not high), remove from the microwave and stir. Repeat the process until almost melted, then stir until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl beat together the eggs and sugar until glossy and lighter in color (about 2 minutes).
