Best Breakfast Smoothie

I know, I know… the last thing the Internet needs is another smoothie recipe – let alone one that is green and claims itself to be the “Best Breakfast Smoothie”.

But here it is – ha!

It’s been a super busy week for me; my brain is full of culinary chaos. On top of working on collaborative projects, I’ve been busy creating content for my own cookbook, photographing it, and working out the layout details. Aside from not having the time to create content for the blog, I hardly had time to feed myself! All work and no food in Dana Land is a recipe for disaster, so I was lucky to be able to slam a few of these bad boys down this week.


Best Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw baby spinach
  • 1/2 frozen banana,
  • 1 TBSP natural peanut butter, nut butter, or seed butter
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon stevia, maple syrup, or honey optional
