COCONUT LIME SUGAR COOKIE BARS

THIS COCONUT LIME SUGAR COOKIE BARS RECIPE IS OUTTA THIS WORLD WITH THIS AMAZING COCONUT LIME FROSTING.  IT’S A VARIATION OF THE BEST BUTTERCREAM FROSTING RECIPE MADE WITH THE INCREDIBLE FLAVOR COMBO OF LIME AND COCONUT. Ingredients
Sugar Cookie Bars

  • 2 1/4 cup Flour all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar white, granulated
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Coconut Lime Buttercream Frosting

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 lime Lime zest from one lime
  • 2 1/2-3 Tablespoons Lime juice Fresh lime juice if possible
  • 1/2 tsp Coconut Extract

Instructions
How to make Sugar Cookie Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9 by 13" pan with non-stick cooking spray.?
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until creamy and fluffy.  Add the eggs and then beat again until mixed. Gradually mix flour mixture into the butter mixture.
  5. Press the dough into a greased glass baking dish, 9 by13", pan. Cover the bottom of the pan as evenly as possible with the cookie dough.
  6. Bake in a 325-degree oven for 20-22 minutes or until just barely golden. Take out of the oven and let cool.
